1. APPLICATION
This specification is special to thermostat model No. KSD020.
2. CONSTRUCTION
2.1 TYPE
Single pole, single contact point, fixed temperature, and snap action type thermostat with bimetal.
2.2 APPEARANCE
To exclude the thermostat with crack, dirt, rust, stain, etc, and thermostat to be considered disqualification as at appearance.
2.3 TERMINAL STRENGTH
Terminal can't have displacement and damage, when terminal endure thrust force (5Kgs) and pull force (10 Kgs).

4.1 OPERATING TEMPERATURE

Insulation resistance is to be over 100MΩ at check with DC 500V
4.3 INSULATION INTENSITY
Not to be cause electronic breakdown at AC 3 KV for 1 second or AC 1.5 KV for 1 minute at 50 HZ between terminals and cover.

To be complied with UL, TUV, CQC standard.

5. DURABILITY
5.1 Requirement are as following unless specified in item No.5.2
5.1.1 Operating temperature after testing of item No. 5.2.1 to 5.2.6 is to be within ±3°C against initial temperature with item No. 4.1
5.1.2 To be complied with under 300 mΩ item No. 4 properties after testing at item No. 5.2.1 to 5.2.7.
5.2 TESTING
5.2.1 HUMIDITY RESISTANCE TEST
Insulation resistance is to be over 100 MΩ after puting in air oven maintained at temperature 40±3°C and humidity 90~95% RH for 24 hours, then wiping water away.
5.2.2 COLD RESISTANCE TEST
To put at ambient temperature -10±5°C for 24 hours.
5.2.3 VIBRATION TEST
To be vibrated for 10 minutes at amplitude 3mm and frequency 22 HZ.
5.2.4 SHOCKING TEST
To drop a thermostat from 1 meter height to floor in natural condition.
5.2.5 HEAT RESISTANCE TEST
To leave at ambient temperature 120±5°C for 2 hours.
5.2.6 CONDITIONING TEST
10 cycles are to be made as 1 cycle at 15 minutes interval at ambient temperature 120°C after leaving at ambient temperature -10°C for 15 minutes.
5.2.7 ENDURANCE TEST
